Lillian Turner-Gracie
Ideas Come from endless sources: dreams and nightmares, observation and fantasy, science and nature or... the unexpected. Sometimes the medium itself is reason enough to explore and create ... or an idea demands what materials should be used.
I have painted and worked with clay for many years, exploring a wide range of ideas and materials. Although my background is in fine art, like many artists I have used these skills in a variety of ways. In addition to having work in galleries and shows in Massachusetts, Florida,
Rhode Island and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
I was a partner in a business restoring 18th and 19th Century European painted furniture. My partner restored fine paintings of every kind. Because of this I had the opportunity to study and learn so much from the pieces that were brought in for repair.
